Konami codes and secret messages in Jam Sessions

If you're one of those completists who felt Best Buy's blue fist closing around your wallet when Ubisoft announced exclusive songs for people who purchased Jam Sessions through the electronics retail giant, allay your fears!
It turns out that all you need to do to unlock the three bonus songs is enter a shortened version of the Konami code while in Free mode: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, and Right. Those of you who've set the game up with left-handed controls should be able to enter the sequence with the ABXY buttons: X, X, B, B, Y, A, Y, and A.
The three extra tracks, in case you've forgotten, are the following:
- Brad Paisley - "I'm Gonna Miss Her"
- Jimi Hendrix - "Wild Thing"
- Tom Petty - "Needles and Pins"
Check past the post break for video and audio proof of the spine-tingling whisper. We guarantee that your spine will be tingled!
[Thanks, Nick!]

i think its japanese? "-masu" sounds a lot like "mahss". i'll check my japanese "Jam Session" cart when i get home and see if the A5 does the same.

guidedbyvoip: I think you may be right. Listening to the clip, it sounds like "dekimasu" (= can do).

Just tested the Japanese version (notice I didn't annoy anybody by calling it "my japanese version") and it doesn't have it.

the code does not work or am I doing it wrong? DO you strum when you enter the code or push the buttons, because I did both and it did not work.

You DO NOT need to strum. Just hit the buttons in the correct order without doing anything on free play mode, and a screen will prompt you to your song list.

I'm pretty sure it's saying "I won't give lessons"

sounds like "Thank you" to me.

Well it sounds to me, and I'm almost positive it's just the sound of fingers letting go of the chord and running down the guitar strings. They must have just not heard it in audio editing and left it in on accident.
